Dr. Áine Byrne is a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. She holds a BA (mod) in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from University of Nottingham. Her research involves using mathematical techniques, such as dynamical system, mathematical modelling and bifurcation analysis, to understand how the brain works.
