Since graduating with a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from University College Cork in 2019, Laura has worked as part of a data analytics team within the risk department in the AIB group. She has a strong background in both statistics and applied maths from her degree. She has since enjoyed building, implementing, and testing statistical methods and data-driven models. Laura is looking forward to having the opportunity to research statistical and machine learning techniques and apply them to real-world problems to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology and help solve some of today’s significant challenges.
