Catherine Hurley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Maynooth University, where she is also affiliated with the Hamilton Institute. Her primary research interests are in data visualisation for problems in data science and machine learning. She is Director of the MU MSc in Data Science & Analytics. She serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Computational Statistics, as Executive Editor of the R Journal and is currently Vice-President of the Irish Statistical Association.
