Keelan is on track to complete his PhD in Sustainable Finance by August 2025. His research focuses on the evolution of ESG ratings and their role in mitigating financial risk. Throughout his PhD, he led modules on Corporate Sustainability and contributed to teaching Machine Learning and Mathematical Modelling.

Keelan gained industry experience through an internship and graduate program with Susquehanna International Group, and completed his QFA professional exams alongside his doctoral studies. Beyond academia, he has a strong interest in sustainable agriculture and tourism, having recently earned two QQI Level 6 certificates in Agricultural Science & Farming, and Regional Tour Guiding.
