Matt received a joint honours degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from University College Cork, during this degree he spent a year abroad studying at the University of California Berkeley. After this, he spent two years working in the Data & Analytics Department of PwC. Matt is very interested in the applications of machine learning and AI and hopes to be able to apply his skills to research in the medical sector.
