Melody holds a Master’s degree in Social and Cultural Psychology from a European programme (Global-MINDS) and two bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Language Sciences from Université de Paris. She has also worked as a linguist in Natural Language Understanding. She is interested in using her expertise in Psychology and Language Sciences to better understand behaviours online through text analysis but also question the impact of Artificial Intelligence on marginalised social groups. For her master’s thesis, she worked with social media data, analysing posts using topic modelling in Python. Outside of academia, she loves to combine her passion for photography and hiking to find beautiful nature spots.
